About QStrata

Our Profession. Our Conference.

QStrata is Queensland’s premier strata conference and exhibition, proudly hosted by Strata Community Association Queensland (SCAQ).

Bringing together strata professionals, industry leaders, service providers and key stakeholders from across Queensland, QStrata is where our professional community comes together to learn, connect, share expertise and explore new ideas.

More than an annual conference, QStrata is an opportunity to strengthen professional capability, build valuable relationships and be part of the conversations shaping the future of strata in Queensland.

About Strata Community Association Queensland

Representing Queensland’s strata profession since 1984.

Strata Community Association Queensland (SCAQ) is the peak industry body for professional strata management in Queensland, representing more than 1,200 individuals and businesses working across one of the state’s fastest-growing sectors.

Established in 1984 as the Body Corporate Managers Institute of Queensland, SCAQ has grown from a small volunteer-led organisation into a respected professional association representing the people and businesses who manage, maintain and support Queensland’s strata communities.

Our membership includes strata management professionals, specialist service providers and businesses delivering essential services across building maintenance, insurance, legal, accounting, technology, utilities and property services.

We work to strengthen the profession through advocacy, education, accreditation, professional standards and industry engagement.

From advocating for meaningful legislative reform to supporting professional development through our Professional Pathways program, SCAQ is committed to building a capable, respected and sustainable strata profession.

An industry that matters to Queensland

Strata is an increasingly important part of Queensland’s housing landscape and economy.

Our members support bodies corporate responsible for managing more than $280 billion in property assets across Queensland.

As Queensland continues to grow and more people choose to live and work in strata communities, the role of professional strata management has never been more important.

SCAQ is proud to represent the professionals and businesses helping Queensland’s strata communities thrive.
